Lumens refers to the measure of light output, or brightness, of a light bulb. The more lumens a light bulb provides, the brighter the light. All Westinghouse light bulb packaging specifies the equivalent incandescent wattage associated with the light bulb's lumen output. This helps provide a standard for comparing all LED light bulbs.
