This rough-in bracket for a 3-inch or 5-inch slim recessed LED downlight is the perfect guide for easy installation in new construction applications. The bracket plate comes ready for use with a 3-inch recessed downlight. Knock out the center ring for use with a 5-inch recessed downlight.

Install the bracket plate in the ceiling before installing drywall. After drywall installation, use the bracket as a guide for cutting/routing holes to accommodate your slim recessed downlight.
